Pavel Timenov is a Full Stack Developer, Junior at Anthill with a growing passion for both Frontend and Backend development. His journey started early and continues to evolve in a supportive environment. Curious to know what fuels his drive and what he’s working on now? Read the full interview to find out.

Can you share a bit about your background and what sparked your interest in software development?
When I was at school, there was an academy that came over to tell us about software development and show us a few things. This was enough to spark my interest and gave the start to my journey.

Describe your role at Anthill and what a typical day looks like for you.
I am currently a Full Stack Developer at Anthill. The tech stack I am using is .NET and Angular. First thing I do is to check all PBIs related to work and chats to see if anything new is added or changed. Then I begin working on the tasks. Most of my meeting are in the afternoon and after that I spend some more time finishing the daily work.

Technology is constantly evolving. Are there any technologies or tools that you’ve discovered or learned about at Anthill that have particularly excited or inspired you?
I was never that much of a Frontend developer, so I can say that, here I improved a lot on that aspect.

What was your motivation to join Anthill’s team?
When I first met some part of Anthill’s team, I thought that here is the place where I can learn a lot and improve.

How does Anthill encourage and support you to grow on your software development journey?
Being surrounded with a team full of professionals, who want you to grow and are making the work enjoyable, is what I feel is the biggest encouragement for me.

Can you share something that you are currently working on that you find particularly exciting or challenging, and why?
I am currently working on the MSD SQL project. It is a new and exiting project. Also the team is formed of people I have never worked before so this also adds up to the exiting part.

Looking ahead, what aspects of software development are you most eager to explore or develop further skills in?
A: I want to continue improving my backend and frontend skills.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy working out, running and going out with friends.
