In this week’s Beyond Anthill, we introduce you to Teofani Racheva, Anthill’s Office Manager. From walks in nature and healthy eating to interior design and traveling, her interests span across the board. Discover more about her day-to-day which involves a lot of taking care of our team, something she does perfectly!
Describe your role at Anthill and what a typical day looks like for you.
Teofani: I have been part of the Anthill team for over a year and in my role as Office Manager, every day is different and exciting. I need to be flexible and to multitask. Usually, the day starts by checking emails and prioritizing tasks, then coordinating with vendors or addressing any facility issues that arise. Throughout the day, I may schedule meetings, organize business trips, assist employees with various requests, and ensure that office operations run smoothly.
Describe your job in a way that a 3-year-old would understand it.
Teofani: I’m like a friendly helper in a big house where many people work. Just like a mother takes care of her family, I take care of everyone who works there. I make sure they have yummy snacks and feel happy. And when they need help with something tricky, like finding their toys, I’m there to help them, too!
What was your motivation to join Anthill’s team?
Teofani: My motivation stems mainly from the warm and friendly atmosphere during the hiring process, combined with the outstanding individuals I met at the company. Moreover, the prospect of influencing the development and building of the company culture greatly inspired me, as well as the opportunity to work with so many talented people.
How does Anthill encourage and support you to pursue your own interests?
Teofani: It gives me flexibility and freedom in decision-making and supports me with everything I need in the process.
Can you share something that you are currently working on that you find particularly exciting or challenging, and why?
Teofani: The project I have been working on since the beginning of the year has been renovating the interior of Anthill’s new office. The project is quite exciting as it touches on one of my interests in interior design, and also requires a high level of prioritization and organization. I believe that at the end of this adventure, we will have a creative and cozy working environment.
What are your future goals & aspirations?
Teofani: I aim to continue refining my organizational skills and fostering a more efficient workplace environment. I aspire to actively contribute to the company’s development. Long-term, my objective is to cultivate a healthy and inspiring work culture that nurtures the growth and success of every team member.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Teofani: I spend my free time mostly with my boyfriend, watching a movie or traveling to discover new destinations and create memories together. I’m also passionate about healthy eating, culinary adventures, and experimenting with new recipes. Other than that, I enjoy walking in nature, away from the city noise, and enjoying happy moments with friends.
