From starting as an external expert to his decision to join the Anthill team full-time, discover what inspired his transition. Plus, we dive into the latest endeavor he’s a part of as well as his new hobby. Spoiler alert: It’s hot!
Describe your role at Anthill and what a typical day looks like for you.
Yanislav: I joined Anthill as an Expert Full-Stack Developer. Currently, I’m participating in our partner’s CCC Incubation Program for the next several months which presents an interesting challenge. Seeing the design mockups on day one and presenting a proof of concept (POC) on day five that I have made together with my colleagues using the latest technologies, is particularly exciting.
Describe your job in a way that a 3-year-old would understand it.
Yanislav: I’m telling the computer what to do by typing on the keyboard.
What was your motivation to join Anthill’s team?
Yanislav: Originally, I joined Anthill as an external expert. However, the collaborative environment alongside friendly colleagues inspired me to become a full-time member of the Anthill team.
Can you share something that you are currently working on that you find particularly exciting or challenging, and why?
Yanislav: As I mentioned in one of my previous answers, the Incubation Program I’m currently a part of is something I find particularly exhilarating. It offers the opportunity to rapidly develop and showcase exciting digital products within days, using the weapons (tools) of my choice. This dynamic approach is, in my view, the essence of how digital products should be created.
What are your future goals & aspirations?
Yanislav: I’m working on my technical expertise almost every day. My goal is to architect and build robust and scalable software products that are easy to maintain and fit the client’s needs.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Yanislav: I have many hobbies, but the latest one is growing some of the hottest chili peppers on my balcony. It’s something that helps me refresh my mind between work intervals and of course gets me excited about the final result.
