CCC’s Strategic Approach and Collaboration with Anthill

Innovation in the P&C insurance economy is inevitable and this is what the stats by Deloitte show: over 86 percent of insurers in CE believe that cooperation with InsureTech companies may support their technological development. And strategic relationships can be important in accelerating the development of new solutions that will be key to driving growth. CCC is known for its innovative approach in creating solutions for its customers and engaged Anthill to help support its needs for scaling human resources on a contracted, as-and needed basis.

Paul Griffin, Vice President of Strategic Relationships at CCC, recalls his first encounter with Bulgarian tech talent when Progress acquired Telerik. This experience unveiled the potential of Bulgarian technical teams, leading him to recognize the country as a resource for skilled professionals. “Although Bulgaria might not boast the largest market, it has quality  professionals for Anthill to access and employ as part of its temporary staffing services,,” Griffin notes.

CCC’s overarching strategy revolves around developing world-class technology to deliver unparalleled customer solutions and experiences. This vision aligned with Anthill’s staffing expertise. Anthill has been successful in employing talented professionals it can deploy to help clients meet their objectives.  As Griffin puts it, “Working with Anthill is a strategic move in how we can access their talented staff as needed to scale our product development needs.”

Harnessing the Power of Talent

The decision to collaborate with Anthill was based on geographical considerations. It was the talent and expertise that the Bulgarian tech scene offered. Anthill’s teams, which it deploys to support CCC’s projects, contribute significantly to CCC’s ability to access scale as needed and drive desired growth. Anthill’s team are not just coders, but they bring other skills such as innovative thinking and problem solving. “We’d be underutilizing talent if we didn’t leverage Anthill’s  Bulgarian team for their expertise,” Griffin asserts.

In a recent Bloomberg TV interview with Paul Griffin, and Andrey Bachvarov, Supervisory Board Member of Anthill, both leaders discussed the full scope of their collaboration, touching on CCC’s strategic approach and how the collaboration with Anthill is supporting their innovation and scale.

Bridging Cultural and Geographical Gaps

Regular visits by Anthill employees to CCC’s US office and vice versa have played a pivotal role in bridging any cultural or geographical divides. These interactions have fostered a deeper understanding to help the two companies’ teams work will together.

Knowledge Sharing: A Two-Way Street

The emphasis on mutual growth is evident in the knowledge-sharing initiatives. CCC has opened its vast reservoir of learning resources to Anthill’s team, helping provide access to the latest trends in the industry as they engage on CCC projects.

But this knowledge exchange isn’t unilateral. Anthill understands the local staffing market and can bring fresh perspectives, innovative methodologies, and insights. This mutual exchange has enriched both entities respective teams and business objectives.

Looking to the Future with Optimism

As the relationship matures, both Anthill and CCC are optimistic about the future. The foundation has been laid, trust has been established, and the results are evident. The focus now is on further deepening this collaboration to continue to deliver against the goals of the relationship: finding innovative solutions for skilled talent and contract-based placement that matches speed and scale of the fast-paced InsureTech space.
